A Principle That Needs Principles

This story out of the Orlando, Florida area just came across my radar. A 13 year old girl was suspended from school for 3 days for wearing perfume.

Talk about overreaching your authority! This principal is way off course with this decision.

My favorite part of the story is the mom’s statement. Her argument is genius. “If she goes to school stinking they’re going to be calling children and family services on me saying I’m an unfit mother,” Jordon said. “She goes to school clean and they’re suspending her so she’s getting punished either way.”
